The Power of Making Space

Sometimes, when we’re waiting for something we truly want—a new job, a meaningful relationship, a health goal, or any of life’s big moments—it can feel like it’s just out of reach.

But here’s a gentle reminder: that thing you’re waiting for, that dream you’re holding onto?

It’s on its way.

It might take time, and it might not come exactly as you expect, but when it arrives, it will feel even more meaningful because of the waiting.

In life, it’s essential to allow ourselves to feel the contrast between having and not having.

When we’re in a space of waiting, we can learn to appreciate the journey and build up that deep, genuine gratitude for when the thing we want finally arrives.

This healthy contrast (I love a good contrast) teaches us patience, gratitude, and resilience. And then, when we receive that gift—whatever it is—we feel the beauty and significance of it even more deeply!!

But for this to happen, we have to make room in our lives.

Think of it this way: if your hands are already full, it’s difficult to receive more.

If we’re carrying past worries, regrets, or simply too much busyness, there’s no space for what’s new and meant for us. Sometimes, we have to let go of things that no longer serve us to welcome in what will.

So here’s your reminder: hold faith that the right things are coming to you.

Sit in the space of anticipation, clear out what doesn’t serve you, and keep an open heart. God can’t give you new blessings if your hands are already full.

Trust, let go, and prepare for what’s next. It’s on its way!!
