A Marriage Rooted in Faith

Marriage is one of the most beautiful commitments we can make, but it’s also a daily choice.

Looking back, I realize how different things are in my marriage today compared to my first marriage.

In my first marriage, I tried to build something without God. I did it on my own, relying on what I thought was best, chasing the world’s version of happiness and success.

But without God, it all fell apart—just months after my wedding day.

Today, God is the foundation of my marriage, and it changes everything!!

It’s not easy, but it’s a different kind of work, one that brings peace, purpose, and growth. Just like we have to be intentional about spending time with God, we also have to be very intentional in our marriage.

This means guarding our words, lifting each other up, and choosing every day to rely on God’s strength rather than our own. When we stumble, we don’t give up or go separate ways. Instead, we turn back to each other and to God, trusting that through every trial, He’s using it to bring us closer.

There’s a deep comfort in knowing that God isn’t just watching over me but also watching over my husband.

Just like He holds my heart, He also holds my husband’s.

This truth allows us to rest, knowing we’re not alone in this journey. We’re part of something bigger—a marriage with God at the center, giving us strength, grace, and love that goes far beyond what we could create on our own.

To anyone reading this, let me encourage you: build your marriage on the solid foundation of God’s love.

Pursue each other, pursue God, and trust that even through the hard days, He’s doing a beautiful work in you both.

When we surrender our marriage to Him, He doesn’t just sustain us—He grows us, draws us closer, and creates something far stronger and more meaningful than we ever could on our own.
